Labor is powerful, intense, and deeply transformative—and you don’t have to walk into it unprepared. This class is designed to help you and your support person feel calm, confident, and ready with practical tools to navigate labor together.
We’ll explore how your body is beautifully designed for birth and how hormones, environment, and support all play a role in the labor experience. You’ll learn and practice a wide variety of comfort measures, including breathing techniques, movement and positioning, massage, hydrotherapy, relaxation strategies, and hands-on support that partners can provide.
The Comfort with Confidence class is interactive and encouraging, giving partners the confidence to actively support labor while helping birthing mothers stay relaxed, focused, and empowered. By the end, you’ll leave with a toolkit of comfort strategies—and the reassurance that you have options, support, and the ability to work with your body through labor.
This class is offered every month on Sunday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Preparing for birth can feel overwhelming, but understanding how birth works can bring confidence and calm to the experience. The Foundations of Birth Class is designed to help expectant parents build a strong understanding of how the body is designed to give birth and the choices that support a healthy, positive birth experience.
In this class, we explore the evidence-based principles behind healthy birth practices, including letting labor begin on its own when possible, the importance of movement and positioning, continuous labor support, avoiding unnecessary interventions, following your body’s urges during pushing, and keeping parents and babies together after birth. We also discuss how common hospital practices and birth choices can influence the labor experience, helping families feel informed and prepared to advocate for themselves.
This class is offered one-on-one and scheduled to fit the needs of your family, allowing plenty of time for questions, discussion, and personalized guidance. Choose between a one-day intensive (6-8 hour) session or a two-day series, depending on what works best for your schedule.
By the end of the class, you’ll have a deeper understanding of the birth process and the confidence to approach labor feeling informed, supported, and prepared.
