The ideal time to take a childbirth class is during the second or early third trimester, around 24 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. This allows plenty of time to practice techniques and feel prepared for labor while ensuring the information is fresh when birth approaches.
Absolutely! We encourage partners or support persons to attend. Their involvement helps provide emotional and physical support during labor, making for a more positive birth experience.
We recommend bringing a pillow, comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a support person if possible. We’ll provide class materials and hands-on practice opportunities.
